Since I began to embrace myself as an artist, my whole way of being in the world has changed.  Every frame of my eye sees a scene of artistry.  Color, form, composition.  Every living breathing being is telling the story of it’s magnificent experience on Earth.

When I moved to the mountains 4 years ago, the call to slow down and listen deeply to the Earth’s rhythms became a significant experience in the shaping of my life.  The amplified awareness that came when I hushed my racing thoughts and aligned with the magic of the Seasons gave me the opportunity to realize deeply in my body that I truly am a part of  “All That Is.”   I am an essential thread in the tapestry of amazing  Universal beauty that we are all creating together.

And in this union  I discovered that my voice matters.  My perspective is worth sharing.  My story is my Masterpiece.  This unique expression of my creative spirit is the reason I have come to the Planet.   The deeper I venture into my relationship with the Source of Creation, the more I want to explore and express.

Everyday images have beauty and magic.  Even with my camera that chooses my focus for me. (LOL)

Hence the food.  The bright colors and textures.  And the taste.

I have stopped pushing myself and started inviting myself.  I am exploring in writing, in storytelling with photos,  coloring the pages of journals and larger canvases that encourage my more expanded view of the “story of me”.

When I focus on how it feels to lay paint on paper, brush to vellum, my heart flows.  When I focus on the beauty I feel when the trees say “show the world  what I behold” in the camera’s eye, I explode. 

The self portrait experience has me stepping up to my life as I am in each moment, gently laying down the judgments or fears and letting me be who I truly am. Right now.

 I have connected with my self and my own Divinity in a way that has blown the cover off of   “I can’t,”  “I’m not,” and “not good enough.”  My practice as a mentor and guide has more fully become about successfully recognizing and gathering personal power, standing in the world as your truest expression of self and knowing the power in that stance.  Living the power of that stance.  The alchemy is real  and the Labyrinth awaits!

There is Magic and Ancient Wisdom in every being, unfolding, telling the stories of the Wise and Wild Earth.

Living the Dream, Steward of the Land, Keeper of the Mysteries.  Unfolding with Ancient Divine.

I’ve wanted to tell the story of how I saw the world for quite a while….but never knew the power that could be accessed when you put your own image into the story.  So I’ve been “dipping my toes in” as Vivienne likes to put it, and embarking on the storytelling journey.

These here  are a few favorite snapshots, just little peeks into a much larger view that is unfolding before me in my multimedia adventure as artist and authentic dreaming woman.

When you dive into the flow of your creative heart — BIG things happen.  They did for me.

I began to trust myself more as an artist.  I let myself pick a up a brush and paint.  By allowing myself to dance with the flow of all that  is within me, what emerged was my voice in color and shape, along with my trust in the process of intuitive art making.

Painting BIG is living BIG.

I am loosening up and allowing more of my true self to shine through.  And….painting is fun!  Juicy colors and flowing brush strokes bring out the playful being in me.  And this playful being is showing me how to live more in Joy.

My word for now is Authenticity.  And the sweetness it brings to my life is beyond words.

Painting without the mind interfering and telling you that you don’t know how to paint has been a liberating experience for me. 

My heart knows plenty about beauty making.  And I’m just gonna keep on painting and photo making  and writing and singing and loving, NO MATTER WHAT!
